Lauren Alvarez

Lauren Alvarez has over six years of experience in the recovery field, with a background spanning addiction counseling as a CASAC 2 in both long term residential and inpatient treatment, sober living operations, and business development. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and studied Addiction Counseling at SUNY Stony Brook, and her work across multiple roles has given her a unique perspective on both the clinical and business sides of recovery. As someone in long-term recovery herself, Lauren is deeply passionate about helping others and believes that anyone can recover with the right support. She is a mother of two awesome kids, lives in New York State, and is excited to bring both her professional experience and personal passion for recovery to Release Recovery.
